I had a blast creating and teaching my February class layout for Scrapaholics and today I get to share them with you. Lots of clean layers and textures in this fun multi photo layout. I’m aiming to have more photos in my layout classes this year, listening to what you lovelies have requested. This layout is very much about the circles, and is repeated in many different ways throughout. Here it is:
“Celebrate Good Times”
Thank you so much to all the lovely ladies that attended my February class and bought the kit. I had such a blast and I can’t wait until Scrapaholics release my March class with you all. A little hint: the background is definitely not white.
Another big news…I’ll be teaching two classes for Scrapaholics at SENZ – New Zealand’s largest Scrapbooking and Craft Expo which will be held at the Ellerslie Event Centre, Auckland on June 30-July 2. Classes will be released early May so keep an eye out for SENZ class bookings here. Wooohooo!
Thanks for popping in.
It’s so nice to finally get some decent days off from work since the madness of school holidays started. This means extra time for me to scrap (wooohoooo!) so I played along with My Creative Scrapbook’s January Sketch Challenge:
I pushed my photo up while still keeping to the body of the sketch. Here’s my layout, I hope you’ll like it as much as I do:
“Your Time To Shine”
I’ve used Kaisercraft’s Ubud Dreams collection for this page. I love the gorgeous prints and colors of this collection, which goes so well with my daughter’s photo.
I also used Scrapmatts’ chipboards and stencil to this page. The Ornate Frames chipboard gave the layout a delicate layer and framed the photo perfectly.
The adorable Flowers chipboard have been inked and layered among the frames and flowers.
Some subtle stenciling has been added from the Hexagons stencil, keeping to the colors of the layout.
Thanks so much for popping in. Thanks to My Creative Scrapbook’s awesome sketch, I had fun playing along.
Getting into more Christmas spirit, I’ve decided to join in Kaisercraft’s gorgeous December Christmas Moodboard Card Challenge:
Isn’t it gorgeous? I couldn’t resist playing along. Here’s my Christmas card:
I’ve used the beautiful Home For Christmas collection by Kaisercraft.
I’ve die cut a couple of doilies from Kaisercraft’s Doily Dies with a sheet from The Home For Christmas paper pad and cork sheet (by Kaisercraft as well).
For some glittery touches, I’ve added some Crystalina Kindy Glitz on the doily and Red Kindy Glitz at the edges of the punched heart. The Kaisercraft white mini paper bloom is sitting nicely amongst the cluster of Christmas flowers.
That’s it for today’s Christmas card post. Thanks for popping in and I hope you’re having a lovely December.
Good day! I’ve been having a blast teaching at Scrapaholics this month & I’m giving a big & thankful shout out to all the lovely ladies that attended my classes. Today I get to share with you my blue & gold fun mixed media layout class:
Shiny, shimmery, inky & glittery…we’ve had some messy fun in the class for sure.
Loving all the Green Tara flowers in this layout. Hopefully they get to supply more of these soon.
My daughter gave me the 2 thumbs up for this layout. I’m so lucky to have children who adore looking through their scrapbooks (made by their mom of course!). Just one of the many reasons I thoroughly enjoy this craft, & now I’m on a mission to share it. I hope you’ve had a great month & thanks for popping in. Do check out my class at Scrapaholics next month here. It’ll be a set of 3 cards this time using the beautiful Storyteller range. Hope to see you there. 🙂
Hello everyone. Today I’m posting a Graphic45′ layout which features the stunning Voyage Beneath the Sea collection. The colors, graphics, prints…so divine!
“I Love You (More Than All The Fish In The Sea)”
How gorgeous is this collection? Here are a few close ups:
Here’s a quick step by step of this layout:
So what do you reckon? I hope you enjoyed the quick snapguide & got your G45 creativity on. Thanks for popping in & I can’t wait to post some more G45 creations this year.
A new year means a call for a new Design Team, so today I’m saying goodbye to the wonderful team of Artfull Crafts. I had a blast creating with Liz’s generous DT packs & I’m sure the 2016 team will enjoy it as much as I did. The rest of the DT has been amazing & inspiring. I’m so lucky to have worked with a diverse group of lovely talented ladies. You can also check out the full blog post here.
Here’s a recap of my favourite projects from last year:
(Secret Garden Card)
(A Touch Of Gold Multi-Purpose Box)
(Time Machine Layout)
I’d especially like to thank Liz & Graham for having me on the team. Thank you to everyone that left lovely comments on the blog, I appreciate all of them. I wish the new DT the best, & I look forward to your inspirations.
Hi there, how’s your week going? Mine has been busy planning on new ventures, keeping the kids occupied (it’s school holidays!), & birthdays happening left, right & center. I make sure to give myself some creative time & today I get to share with you a masculine card. This is inspired & for Berry 71 Bleu’s “Get Your Sparkle On” January Challenge:
Here’s my take on the lovely board, with a dark & shimmery masculine card:
The shades of blue & the dark starry sky are what attracted me most from the challenge board, & I tried to incorporate these to the card. My hubby will be having his birthday very soon & I hope he likes it.
I’ve embossed & painted the cogs keeping to the colors of the card.
Thanks so much for dropping by & that’s it for my quick post today. Now I’m off to do & tick off more tasks from my to-do list. Have a great weekend!
