Just To Say – A Glittery Floral Card

I love showing different ways of creating with Bella’s gorgeous range and array of Glittered Cardstock, and today I’ll share with you a couple of tips with my glittery floral card.

Bella Materials: White Glittered Cardstock, True Romantic Paper, Purple Florals, Pink Fireworks Bling

Fundamentals Materials: Sentiment Topper

Tip #1: Apply some texture paste through a stencil on the Glittered Cardstock.  Using similar shade of texture paste and Glittered Cardstock will give you a nice monochromatic finish with glitter, texture, and pattern all in one.

Tip #2: Bella’s White Glittered Cardstock is versatile and perfect for altering into your preferred cardstock shade.  Simply paint or mist on the White Glittered Cardstock and voila!

Tip #3:  Once I’ve misted the White Glittered Cardstock with my favourite purple shade, I’ve then die cut them into leafy swirls to add to my cluster of Purple Bella Florals.  Just think of all the different die cuts you can make with Bella’s Glittered Cardstock, perfect for adding touches of glitz to any project.

Tip #4: Simply mist or watercolor on the White Glittered Cardstock background for a little splash of color.  You’ll be surprised how lovely the finish is on Bella’s Glittered Cardstock, whichever medium you choose to add.

So there’s Bella’s White Glittered Cardstock used different ways in one card.  You can check out the range of Glittered Cardstock here.  Thanks for popping in and I hope I’ve inspired you to create with Bella’s Glittered Cardstock.

Cheers,

Simply Wonderful – Bubble Fun Layout

Today I’d like to show you the fun versatility of Bella’s Glittered Cardstock.  I paired them with the gorgeous Memories Mini Theme collection for a bubble fun mixed media layout.

“Bubble Fun”

Bella materials: Memory Lane Paper, Memorie Die Cut Pack, Glittered Cardstock (Chestnut; Watermelon; Powder; White), White Bella Florals, Black Bella Florals, Ruby Rock-It Silver Glitter

First I added some paints on top of the Memory Lane paper.  I then added some punched circles from different shaded of Bella’s Glittered Cardstock.

I then added a cluster of Bella Florals by the photo, then spritz some color on them and around the layout.

I’ve cut out the title from the same Memories Mini Theme collection.  The cute little silver foiled bee that I added on the cluster is from the collection’s Die Cut Pack.

I’ve punched some itty bitty circles from my good ol’ puncher from the White Glittered Cardstock and added these around the page.  I then added more texture throughout and some last sprinkling of Ruby Rock-It Silver Glitter.

I love how this layout captures the fun moment my daughter had, catching lots of bubbles.  Just one of her many favourite past times, and she always shows and reminds me to enjoy the little things.

Thanks for popping in and I hope I’ve inspired you to create with Bella’s great array of Glittered Cardstock.  You can check them all out here.

Flight of Fancy Mixed Media Canvas

Hello everyone.  How was your long Easter weekend? Today I’m excited to share with you a colorful canvas featuring a mix of Bella Florals and Bling, with a mixed media twist.  See if you can spot all of them:

“Flight Of Fancy”

Bella materials: White Bella Florals, Floral Bling, Accent Flourish Bling, Spiral Flourish Bling, Silver Glitter Paper, Green Glitter Paper

Fundamentals materials: Birds Decoupage Set

Ruby Rock-It materials: Purple Glitter

I’ve used a hexagon canvas as the base of this project.  I then layered my mediums on top, adding different colors around the canvas.

I then layered some super gorgeous Bella Bling around the Fundamentals Bird Papertole.  The new Bling designs are divine and I just can’t get enough adding these beauties on my creations.

I punched some shapes from a couple of Bella Glittered Cardstock and surrounded them on the canvas.

For added glitz, I sprinkled some Purple Ruby Rock-It Glitter to match the color of the canvas.  Some splatters are added throughout for the final finishing touch.

So there’s my canvas.  I had a blast creating it and I hope you enjoyed my post today.  Check out the Ruby Rock-It shop HERE, you’ll find all the supplies you’ll need for all types of paper craft and beading.

Eat Cake – A Candy Red Heart Card

Ruby Rock It Inspiration Banner

February is all about the month of hearts, and this got me inspired to create a heart shaped card for a birthday girl.  I’ve incorporated Fundamentals‘ new cardstock colors, bitty bows, doilies and sentiment toppers with Ruby Rock-It’s Bolt collection.

Eat CakeChristine Santos

I’ve die cut the gorgeous Candy Red Fundamentals Cardstock with my nesting heart dies.  I then layered the Bolt Patterns Paper to balance with the bright colors.

A tip with Fundamentals’ Doilies: Simply cut them into smaller pieces and use them as layering elements to your projects.  If you look closely, I’ve snuck these little beauties in between the heart layers.

I’ve fussy cut a couple of pretty pink and peach flowers from the Bolt Floral Paper.  The card is finished off with a couple of adorable Fundamentals Bitty Bows, Sentiment Topper, Mini Peg, Butterfly, and Bella’s Small Flourish Bling.

Now this sweet little card is ready to give to the sweet birthday girl.  Thanks for popping in and check out all the new Fundamentals range and colors here, along with Ruby Rock-It’s Bolt collection here.

Texture All ‘Round – A Wintery Hello Card

Seeing all my friends from the other side of the world having fun in the snow makes me dream of snowy landscapes and cozing up by the bonfire.  All this thinking got me inspired to create a wintery card with Fundamentals’ Cardstock and Bella’s  New York collection.

Wintery Hello CardChristine Santos

Bella materials: Join Together (New York) Paper, White Floral Fabric with Bling, Bella Florals, Silver Fabric Trim, Small Borderlines Bling, Fireworks Bling

Fundamentals materials: White Cardstock, Banners & Bubbles Wood Veneers

I’ve trimmed and layered the White Fundamentals Cardstock for my sturdy card base which is perfect for mixed media.  I then layered the gorgeous geometrical print of the Join Together from the New York collection.

Bella Florals adorn the center of the card, and on top is the Bubble Wood Veneer.  These are then surrounded with beautiful Bella Bling and Fabric.

A quick tip with Bella Bling: have fun layering your bling on top of each other for a different look.  This is my favourite tip when it comes to creating Bella projects, and I love the result every time.

Thanks for dropping by and I hope I’ve inspired you to create with Bella Bling and Florals.  For more Bella and Fundamentals, click here.

Happy Girls Are The Prettiest

Ruby Rock It Inspiration Banner

Today I’m sharing a mixed media layout with Bella’s new Raw and Rustic collection, which is very much inspired by spring.  Spring makes me happy and this layout definitely makes me happy!

“Happy Girls Are The Prettiest”

Happy Girls Are The PrettiestChristine Santos

Raw and Rustic Papers: Table Toppers, Timberland, I Do, Valentine

Other Bella/Ruby Rock-It/Fundamentals materials: Bella Florals, Champagne Bubbles Stamp, Bella Bling and Pearl Swirls, Bella Fireworks Bling, Bella Floral Bling Strip, Bella Fabric Trims, Kraft Specialty Corrugated Cardboard Paper, Alpha Wood Veneers

012

I couldn’t decide whether to use the gorgeous floral prints of the Table Topper (top half) paper or the awesome brick texture print of the Valentine (bottom half) paper for this page, so I used them both…I’m really glad I did! The Pink Bella Fabric Trims ties in the 2 papers together.

015

I’ve layered a bouquet of Gold and Silver Bella Florals around the photo, surrounded with a variety of layered Bella Swirls and Blings.  In this case, you can never have too many Florals, Swirls, and Bling!

010

I just love Bella’s new Champagne Bubbles Stamp.  I’ve stamped this around the background, adding some liquid pearls to a couple of stamped bubbles.  The paper layers behind the photo is a slightly distressed piece of Timberland paper and Kraft Corrugated Paper.

006

Last but not the least is the fussy cut alphas for the Happy title which came from the I Do paper.  I’ve layered this across the photo, keeping with the fun look and feel of the page.  Who knew the Raw and Rustic collection could be so much fun?

I hope you enjoyed my Spring inspired layout today.  Check out the beautiful Raw and Rustic collection at your nearest Spotlight store or LSS.
