Hi there, thanks for dropping by my blog.  There’s a light rain today & it’s quite a nice bit of relief from the hot summer days we’ve been having the past days.  Perfect weather for getting crafty, so I created a card for a friend’s 60th birthday.  The big 60…hence why I made this card extra special.  I’m entering it for Cardabilities sketch#115:

I’ve rotated the sketch:

I’m also entering this card for Berry71Bleu‘s lovely January challenge: “Things With Wings”.  Here’s my entry:

I hope she likes it as much as I do, as much as I enjoyed creating it.  Enjoy your weekend!

Hi there.  How was your Christmas? I hope December is treating you well.  ‘Tis the season to be thankful, so I got inspired to scrap my daughters, as they make me the luckiest mom ever! I’m entering this layout for the following challenges:

I really enjoyed working with the delightful sketch & moodboard.  As you can see, the main inspiration for the moodboard are the blue chevron prints, as well as the heart from the bottom left image.  Thank you for inspiring me & I look forward to a great new year!

My Girly Girl

Hi there, how are you? Today I’m sharing a girly layout which is inspired by a sketch & a mood board.  The wonderful sketch is from Sketchabilties #124 by Karan Gerber:

The October mood board inspiration is from Scrap Around the World:

SATW October 2014

I was inspired by the mood board’s beautiful butterflies & colorful shades of the top right photo.  Here’s my entry:

Since this month’s Scrap Around the World mood board is created by Rachael Funnel, I thought I’d add some Arty stamp touches on the background.  This stamp reminds me of her a lot.  Thank you for all the wonderful inspirations, sketch & mood board.  Have a great day! 🙂
